Can't insert a link with a port number

Vladimir 8 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 8 years ago 1

Hi,

When I insert a link with a port number (http:// servername: 8080/image.jpg), the link is defined only in the first part of the URL. How can I do it?

The computation of 50%90% don't work as expected.

Sergi Casbas 11 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 11 years ago 0

The computation of 50%90% don't work as traditional maner.(Cohn, Mike. (2006). Agile Estimating and Planning. pages 194-196 . Prentice Hall).

How to recreate:

 - Get the example corporate website backlog

 - Activate 50/90 for this project.

 - Add 20 points to INR1 and 20 more to INR3

Theme weight is computed as 36.6 (15+21.6?) points while whith 50/90 it will be 15 standard points and a buffer of 5.47  = 20.47

Thank You

Answer

Hi Sergi

We are in fact looking to document our 50/90 calculations better, so I will get back to you soon with that information and will address this post as well.

Thanks,
Matt

unmark sprint as complete

Michael Terkowski 12 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 11 years ago 2
How can I mark a sprint as not-complete if I have "completed" it by mistake?
Answer

Apologies, I have no idea why that response was empty.

You can edit a sprint's status by simply clicking on Settings when you are viewing the sprint, which will take you to a Sprint settings view, which will in turn allow you to un-mark it as complete.

Thanks for making it easy.

Thanks for making managing backlogs easy. Gone are the days of a google spreadsheet with it's ridiculously buggy drag and drop.

I won't use all the features, but just the ones I do use are more than valuable and I'm looking forward to being able to give you guys some money!

Thanks for the feedback Mike

Activities tab that shows last updates on project

Mário Melo 12 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 12 years ago 4
It would be nice to have an "Activities" tab, such as we have in Basecamp or Manymoon. It would be also nice if this tab had an RSS feed, like PlanBox does. It helps teams that work at distance to see what happened/is happening in the project.
Answer
Ah, that's quite a nice idea.  I am a bit concerned however that there wouldn't be a huge amount to show though i.e. it would say something like 'John edited story X of backlog Y', and "Story Z was assigned to Sprint X".  Is that what you were after, or were you imagining more information?

invite users

Gordon Milne 11 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 11 years ago 0

I have had the same problem several times with the invite users page from Linux Google Chrome (Version 22.0.1229.94). Yet it worked first time on Windows Google Chrome.

When the problem happens the page takes ages to respond and I end up on a page asking me to retry my request later. Ihaver never had 'invite users' work on my Linux browser.

Answer

Hi Gordon

Would you mind trying again now?  There were wide scale problems last night due to Amazon issues (see http://www.pcworld.com/article/2012852/amazon-web-services-outage-takes-out-popular-websites-again.html) which may have been causing the problem.

Thanks,

Matt

rename cancel button in sprint settings

Roger Stich 12 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 12 years ago 2
Just a small usability optimization.
The first time i was editing the settings i was searching for an way to jump back to the sprint/backlog. Clicking the cancel button i feel not intuitive to go back.
If u introduce an back button it would be cool.
Since this is just a naming thing i think this has low prio.
Answer
Hi Roger

We have now improved the usability of this based on your suggestion.  It was in fact a little more complex than a text change as Cancel is appropriate once changes are made, however Back is more appropriate if no changes have been made yet, so the button text changes automatically as appropriate.

Thanks for the feedback.

Answer
Hi Roger

I can't tell from your screen shot, but generally when a story has a lot of comments or acceptance criteria in sprint view, the story is collapsed to a certain height.  You can expand the story by clicking the more text.  Does that solve your problem?
