Seperate cost from points?

Michael Terkowski 12 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 12 years ago 2
Can we have the cost column calculated separately from points? we use points for relative complexity, but sometimes the differences in estimated costs are greater in ratio then the differences between the points estimate.

Ability to have a theme/description for a sprint

Taylor Gautier 12 years ago updated by Richard Kingston 8 years ago 2
Hi - we have found that creating a theme (not to be confused with easybacklog themes) for a Sprint is a very useful tool to understand the priority. Think of it as a mini "vision" for what is to be completed. You could call it a "description" but I prefer theme.

Could you create a one line description field that could be attached to sprints?
Answer
Sure, I don't envisage that would be a problem.  Let us have a think about how we could introduce this as I think this would be a nice additional touch that wouldn't impact those who don't use the field.

In all the user's stories is the same description:

AsI want toSo I can

In the print as PDF is all correct.

Answer

Hi Nahuel

I am not sure I understand the problem.  Can you please explain what is happening and how to replicate the issue?

Drop down menu in Safari not visible when in backlog

Peter Blommendaal 9 years ago updated by Philipp Ringli 8 years ago 1
On the overview of backlogs the drop down menu's still work correctly. Once a backlog is opened the drop down menu's are not visible, they open behind the blue fixed menu.

I'm using Safari 8.0.3 on the Mac.

Linking a project to some project documentation

Adam Shallcross 12 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 12 years ago 2
It would be great to be able to link a project to some associated project documentation i.e. some wireframes, spec or brief.

Whether this is an upload to this site, or a link to a dropbox folder, google doc or something like that.  Just so you can easily associate the user stories to something...

Just a thought :)

Cheers

Adam
Answer
Hey Adam

Can you not use the comments field for this?

We are in fact considering allowing people to upload documents directly to a story, but you can link right now.

Is a link in the comments (or acceptance criteria) not sufficient?  If not, would be good if you explained why.

user defined prioritisation attributes

KDB 3 years ago 0

I would like to add prioritisation attributes for product backlog items for use in filtering and ordering the product backlog and then planning sprints. The particular attributes I favour from long use are...

  1. Product Priority (a product owner rating)
  2. Architectural Priority (a structural or natural ordering priority)
  3. Risk (representing uncertainty of satisfactory outcome)
  4. Execution Priority (decided after consideration of product priority, architecture priority, risk  and expected cost (ie points))

I have used these for two decades in spreadsheet methods for managing agile time boxed work.

Would be great to define groups and add users to indiviual groups. This way I have easy control on which team is involved in what backlog.

Jos 4 years ago 0

When running several backlogs .. it would be great if I could assign users to groups and assign the groups to various backlogs. I'm running several external projects each with their own backlog. The teams for these projects are people from my team but also from customers.

Impressed immediately - First agile-first tool!

Oscar Muhahala 4 years ago 0

I have signed up today and just gone through the walkthrough. I am really impressed and feel like this will address the many gaps I have seen with traditional Project Management tools trying to incorporate agile and scrum. This is agile-first and I love it.
