Personas by project

Hi, i sugest that tipo of persona could be added by project and then associated in every story

But the list of personas automatically updates as you add in new personas, and then suggests existing personas.  I am not quite sure I understand the problem.

Scroll backlog and sprint independently in Sprint tab

As a Scrum Master, I want to be able to scroll the backlog and current sprint lists independently, so that I could comfortably look for stories to add to the sprint, and add them in the right spot/order.

Right now, there is one scroll bar for the screen, forcing me to scroll once to find a story in the backlog, and then scroll again (while dragging my selected story) to find where in the sprint I want to place the story.

Cannot select text on the sprint stories page

It is not possible for me to select any text on the sprint stories page. This is annoying. If I see there is an error in a card, I would like to copy the ID and send it to the guy maintaining the cards. Normally I would select, copy and paste. You have some css setting to block that. The browser I'm using is Chrome on osx.

Hi Chris

This is unfortunately an interesting problem.  The reason you cannot select text is intentional because the primary action within this view is to drag and drop items.  If we enable the selection of text, then when you try and drag and drop you may unintentionally end up selecting text instead of dragging and dropping.  To be honest, I think allowing text to be selected would be at the detriment of most users.

However, saying that, we're planning on introducing a feature whereby you can edit stories from within the sprint view.  When we introduce this, you could click on the edit button, select the text, and close the edit window.  Would that work for you?

Currently the theme delete/re-numbering buttons don't display when you first create a backlog. You have to return to dashboard, then access the backlog again before they appear

the user stories are broken in tasks. Why there is no column like a tasks list to give some proposal on how to complete the user story?

Small Typo in API Docs

Hi I have found a typo in the api documentation.

Created_at item attribute at the Sprint object: it's duplicated and one of them refers to the completed_at attribute.


Great API!, using it now with Jupyter and Pandas to explore team metrics.

Hello,
I am developing an application to import some of our Backlogs, Themes, etc into a Database for further reporting purposes.

But i'm running into troubles as the "created_at" attribute of some SprintStories contains "null" as you can see here:

{"created_at":null,"id":12083,"position":1,"sprint_id":3670,"sprint_story_status_id":4,"story_id":106162,"updated_at":"2012-06-26T14:07:43Z"},{"created_at":null,"id":11739,"position":4,"sprint_id":3670,"sprint_story_status_id":4,"story_id":59236,"updated_at":"2012-06-26T14:07:35Z"}

As the document does not state the attribute "created_at" to be nullable, I'm wondering whether this may be a bug?


Also there is a "bug" in the documentation of the Sprints (http://easybacklog.com/api#sprints).

In the list of available attributes on the left, you have listed "created_at" twice.

One of them should be named "completed_at" I think :)

Thanks for pointing this out.  This is indeed very odd, as the business logic dictates that whenever a record is inserted into SprintStories, the create date should be set.  We'll need to look into what is causing this, apologies for the hassle.


We'll get the Sprint docs updated too, thanks for spotting that.

I have sent and resent invitation emails to several of my coworkers but it doesn't appear to be happening.  Is there a schedule or something associated?
