Hi Roger

This issue has now been fixed, it is now impossible to assign a story to more than one sprint enforced at both an application and database level. Please do tell us if you see any odd problems again, and thanks for notifying us.

Matt
Hi Anastasyiha

We have had this problem with Microsoft Office on Mac before, however can you tell me which version of Office you are using and what OS you are on?

Matt
Hi Anastasiya

Unfortunately it seems that MS Office 2007 does not support line breaks in Excel XML documents.  We'll see if we can find a work around solution, but for now I think the best option would be to upgrade.

Sorry.

Matt
You can move themes between backlogs by simply clicking on the actions icon (looks like a spanner) below the theme, and selecting Move to another theme.  At present, we don't support moving stories, only themes.  You can of course simply move the stories you wish to move into a new theme and move that way.  Please do confirm if that is what you need?

Yup, there is some code which removes the add story button during dragging and then adds it back after dragging.  I can only think that this is somehow triggered by a drag event as no other code removes the add button.  We'll do some investigation into this as it's an odd problem that I thought we had fixed.

Sorry for the hassle.

Ah, I've just checked our tests and we didn't have a test written for that, so no one picked up on that.  Thanks for pointing this out.  We'll push through a quick fix and will update you as soon as it's done.

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the feedback.

However, I am not entirely clear on what the problem is.

Would you mind explaining what problem you are having so that I can replicate it and fix it?

Matt

Hi Roberto

That is odd, and is clearly a bug, so please can you tell me what your backlog ID is (it's in your URL) and what your account ID is (it's in your URL too), or alternatively just go to the backlog where the problem is and send me the complete URL.  Don't worry, no one who is not on your account will have access, so it's perfectly safe posting it in here.

Can you then tell me which Sprint is giving you this problem and we will look into it ASAP?

BTW. We did have 25 minutes of disruption yesterday due to connectivity issues between our database server and our web servers.  You can see this at http://status.easybacklog.com/548247.  It is possible that this may have happened at the time you were looking at the site.  EIther way, send me the info and we will look in to it ASAP.

Matt
Hi Roberto

Please see this post, http://easybacklog.userecho.com/topic/93299-sometimes-new-story-button-disappears/.  We had this issue some time back, but we managed to finally replicate the issue, identify the problem and fix it.  However, it's worrying to hear that somehow you have experienced this issue again.  I have checked with the developers, and there is no code that runs after a period of inactivity, so it's very odd that you say the button disappears after some time.  We will run some tests locally to see if we can replicate the issue again, but I somehow think that the problem was more likely to be triggered by an action as opposed to just leaving the browser open.

I know this is a pain for you, but would you mind seeing if you can replicate the issue again and tell me the steps we can follow to replicate it?

Can you make sure you post in here if you see this problem again as then we'll know it's not a once off?

And also, can you tell me what browser and OS you are using?

Thanks,
Matt
Hi Roberto

Thanks for this suggestion, however we are really trying to make easyBacklog as "easy" as possible, and thus adding more options and fields complicates the user interface.  We are of course willing to consider your suggestion, but the immediate questions that come to mind are where would that information be presented?  And why is it needed in the backlog?
