Hi Barrett
Thanks for pointing out that issue with line breaks disappearing from acceptance criteria. We will get that fixed very soon.

Hi Barrett

You can create line breaks in acceptance criteria or comment fields by using Contrl+Enter.
Shout if you have any problems with that. That should solve your problem.

I think we could certainly introduce a micro-format such as *bold* to highlight the words that are important to you, but it would need to not be required. Then if collapsed, we could detect if the user has marke certain words as bold, and if they are bold we could darken those words and lighten the others making it easy to visually see what the verbal shorthand would be then. I assume that would work for you?
I completely understand the need to see a less verbose list of stories, and your suggestion makes sense. We could possibly also allow a user to collapse all stories in a backlog, so that you can view the list of stories more easily. Do you think that would be a useful feature?

You're on of the few people I've chatted to who prints onto 4x6 cards, but that requirement seems sensible. Are you not able to print double sided cards?
We will schedule support for this in the near future.

Hi Bryan
Matt
Thanks for the feedback.
Unfortunately I am really not clear what you are after. Are you saying you want a story to belog to more than one theme? And how are tags used?
Matt
Hi Bryan
As mentioned in http://easybacklog.userecho.com/topic/100491-i-would-like-to-be-able-to-collapse-stories/, we are quite reluctant to bring a new micro format that people need to be trained on. How would it work if someone did not use this micro format, what fall back would we have? Also, what are titles needed for? This is probably more important, trying to understand what the motivation is for the addition of titles.
Hi Bryan
Thanks for the feedback.
Whilst I like your solution, I think it adds a level of complexity that would require training / explanation for users which we're trying to avoid.
As an alternative, assuming you collapsed a story, and all the criteria and comments were hidden, and the user story part was changed to remove all line breaks and shown in the format "As a XXX, I want to YYY, So I can ZZZ", would that achieve what you are after?
Also, assuming you collapsed a story, would you expect the backlog to remember which stories were collapsed when you return to the backlog, or would it be sufficient that these collapses are remembered only for the session you are in? The latter way is how theme collapsing currently works.

Hi Taylor
I agree, the statuses you provided definitely seem more scrum like, and we'll make that change. We just need to double check if it has any impact on other parts before we do, so we'll get this change in soon.

However, we would prefer not to make this configurable as this just adds another layer of complexity to the system. We are trying to minimise the number of options people are presented with, so where possible we've taken a view on what is right and implemented the app accordingly. However, if more people start to ask for this we'll be sure to reconsider.
