Hi Geert
We are going to introduce this feature soon, however we are erring on the side of not including prioritisation numbers, but instead letting people order the list by dragging stories up and down. The reason we are going for this option is because a numbering system becomes difficult to use with time. For example, you start with high priority items as 1, and low as 100 (or vice versa depending on how you score items). Then later you may decide you want a new item as more important than those number 1 items. You now need to renumber the old number 1s to make space for the new number 1. This problem then effects all number 2s, and the problem carries on. Hence, we think a drag and drop solution would be preferable as numbers never need to be manually changed. What do you think?

Hi Geert
Matt
You're not the first to have asked, see http://easybacklog.userecho.com/topic/90564-add-notescomments-for-a-theme/
However, we're not convinced it's needed at present. Can you tell us why it needs to be in there, and also think about where this type of info could be stored and displayed so as not to complicate things? Probably best to post into the existing topic and I will close this one down.

Hi Geert
I think this issue has already been discussed, and we've considered and discussed quite a few options already at http://easybacklog.userecho.com/topic/94379-drag-and-drop-ranking-of-backlog-independent-of-themes-eg-t1s1-t2s2-etc/
Can you confirm if you are happy with what's been discussed there as I think it will solve your problem when it goes live.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Roger
Matt
I've marked this as not a bug for now. However, if you see the problem again, please drop me a line and we'll look into it.

Hi Roger
This should not happen. The acceptance criteria should get really small, but not be cut off. In fact, we introduced a fix for this some time back, so I am surprised to hear that you have experienced this issue.
Can you tell me which backlog (the ID in the URL) this is for, and which story, and I will replicate the issue and get this fixed?
Thanks,
Matt

Apologies Chris, this was indeed a bug and we have now fixed this. Thanks for pointing out, and apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Yup, it will definitely need some help text to make it useful, but I think it could be a nice solution.
Hi Chris
Matt
Thanks for the good idea. We've taken on board your suggestion and modified the export feature of easyBacklog now so that it does the following:
- Uses Microsoft Xml Xls format for the spreadsheet allowing more complex spreadsheets to be built so that we could support this feature
- We now create two Worksheet Tabs when you export your Backlog, the first one "Backlog Report" is very similar to what you saw before. However, the second one "Story List" is a complete list of stories without spaces, and an Auto-filter applied to the top header row so you can filter the stories as you wish.
I hope this is what you were after. I think it's a nice improvement to the old Export system.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Matt
Hi Chris
Do you mind sending me the export and ID of your backlog? You can just email it to support at easybacklog.com. If there is a problem we'll get it fixed ASAP.
