I know, timing is horrendous.  Heroku has an outtage, http://www.heroku.com/, I am talking with their suppor to see what the problem is and get it resolved as soon as possible.  We have had 100% uptime for the last month until this :(

Just seen that Heroku has acknowledged the issue at https://status-old.heroku.com/ , it's a wide spread issue across their whole network.  The site seems to be intermittently available, hopefully they will fix it soon.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Themes are already visually separated by the grey total bars and the white space beneath each.   

We are considering adding a collapse story feature, which may help with your "tucking away" idea.

Unfortunately it's quite difficult to see exactly what we could to address your problem, however we have scheduled in a design review of the entire interface so we will take on board your feedback.

Unfortunately custom fields are really quite difficult.  We would need to reconsider the entire interface to allow these custom fields, and at present I find it hard to find a space where they could go without reverting to an interface where some of the content is in fact hidden behind a dialog box.  We'll give this some thought, but unfortunately not many people have asked for custom fields so it's not high on the priority list.
