Editing fields

When clicking into a field to edit it, you can place the cursor anywhere within it (e.g. mid sentence). However when you start typing the cursor shifts to the end of the field, meaning that you have to click back to mid sentence again.
Solution
As this is not possible, this feature will not be included in future releases.

Do you intend to use Kanban board?

The kanban board is a good feature to view tasks status.

Solution

Hi Pedro

This is something we have discussed extensively, but we've had mixed feedback from our customers on this point.

Do you mean you'd like to see a sort of scrum board that allows you to see all the stories on a single board, and as stories change status from To Do to say Complete, you would see them move to the relevant column?

Prevent duplicate story IDs

It would be good to be able prevent duplicate story IDs - possibly by prefixing story IDs with a sprint name/number ID, etc.

If backlogs were assigned to a company I assume it would make this easier.
Solution
Hi Paul

Do you still need this functionality?  If so, can you explain why?

Child (sub) stories

Is there a way to have a story be the parent story and have other child stories linked to the parent story?  The points for the child stories would be added up to form the points for the Parent story.  Also, it would be great if it was laid out like a tree so we could collapse the child stories and only show the Parent story.
Solution
Hi Jonathan

Firstly I must apologise that we never replied to this post.  The notifications must not have worked as all 3 of your posts have not been answered, yet posts before & after have been.  I am not sure what happened, sorry for the delay.

In response to your point however, this is something we have considered, however for simplicity of the interface, and the user experience for most of our users, we opted to keep stories grouped by Themes only, and stories cannot be attached to other stories (epics).  When a story is too big (an epic), we recommend splitting the story anyway into smaller stories, thus negating the need for epics.

I do understand the need for this, however no one other than you is asking for it, so until we have sufficient demand justifying the added complexity, unfortunately I am going to have to say we're going to park this suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion, and if anyone else feels this is a needed feature, please say so we are aware of it.

Thanks,

Matt

Increase size of assigning color CTA (Call To Action)

The button for assigning a color is, in my opinion, a lot smaller than it needs to be, making it fiddly to select. Can this be increased in size to make selecting a color for a story much easier

I'd like to be able to instantly access a story by entering its ID

I've found that members of our team will note story IDs as a shortcut in their communications to one another. It would be nice to be able to instantly scroll to or search for a story by its ID.

Extra Status for User Stories

Hans Rattink il y a 9 ans 0
Apart from the User Story status "ToDo"/"In Progress"/"Completed"/"Accepted", create one more: "Billed" or perhaps "Processed". Better where, if i could lable this myselves, but Billled would be great. I work with a freelancer and we use EasyBacklog as a our main tool. With this new label it's easyer to bill/pay freelancers.
