We have had this problem with Microsoft Office on Mac before, however can you tell me which version of Office you are using and what OS you are on?

I'm on Windows XP with MS Office 2007.

Ok, we will have to set up a machine using Office 2007 to replicate this problem.  We'll post an update as soon as we've had a chance to test.  Sorry for the inconvenience in the mean time.

Unfortunately it seems that MS Office 2007 does not support line breaks in Excel XML documents.  We'll see if we can find a work around solution, but for now I think the best option would be to upgrade.
