Edit Data?

Brian Gibson 11 years ago updated by Matthew O'Riordan (Founder) 11 years ago 4

I would like to be able to adjust some history and delete/trim

snapshots to clean up Stats page and make it more meaningful.

Is this possible? I have not found a way to edit/delete info.

It took me some time to finally enter my information correctly in my backlog/sprints. The problem is that I have history and snapshots that are not accurate.

Hi Brian

Unfortunately I am really not sure what you are trying to do.

Can you please explain what you mean be history?  Or preferably, explain what your objective is and I will see if I can explain how it is done with easyBacklog.

Thanks,

Matt

I entered fictions story points to learn how the stats page would behave. Unfortunately those points -- subsequent revised to the proper value -- were captured in snapshots and make my burn-up look ridiculous:

Hi Brian

Sorry for the slow reply.

Unfortunately I am not really sure what is an ideal solution here.  We intentionally take a snapshot of a backlog at the point when a sprint starts so that we know what was in your backlog at that time.  Whilst I appreciate if you are creating fictional information this may not work, I think in a production environment this approach is the correct one so that the history cannot be rewritten.

Do you think our approach is wrong?  If so, how do you think it could be remedied?

Matt

Your approach is not wrong. I am a stickler for accuracy and the incorrect data in my burn up if a constant annoyance.

Ok, sorry :(
I can manually adjust the values in the database if it's a problem...
